Kyobo Life Insurance Transforms Internal Communication with EzQ Messenger

Kyobo Life Insurance, a leading name in the life insurance industry, switched its internal messenger to EZNIX's enterprise messenger solution, 'EzQ,' in March 2026. Notably, timed with the need to overhaul an aging notification server, the company reused its existing integrated server (AP/DB) infrastructure and smoothly migrated the messenger for roughly 4,000 employees on schedule — without any new equipment investment.

Q. What prompted you to switch to EzQ? What was inconvenient about your previous system?

We used to have an aging product where the messenger function was built into the groupware, making it difficult to improve or add new features on its own. While reviewing several vendors, we found EZNIX's product had a UI and features aligned with the latest trends and high satisfaction among other customers, which led to our decision.

Q. Could you tell us about the launch process?

We launched at headquarters first, right on the originally planned date of March 6, then expanded step by step to sales branches and FP offices. All roughly 4,000 employees now use EzQ, and it has settled in stably. Despite being a company-wide migration, it proceeded smoothly on schedule.

Q. What do you like most, or what stands out as differentiated, since adopting EzQ?

What we feel most is the UI — structured similarly to messengers employees commonly use, so most adapted quickly with no separate training. Integration with groupware's e-approval and status-based notifications (online, away, in a meeting) are also a big help. The bottom-right notification popup helps ensure important messages are never missed.

Q. What has the reaction been like from actual sales branch staff?

Everyone has received it with enthusiasm. Sales staff often use the information they receive directly in their work, so reliance on and use of the messenger is quite high. Partners have also had good things to say, and it has settled into a stable operating pattern with no issues.

Q. Do you have any plans or additional features you're looking forward to?

In the short term, we plan to integrate our internal IP phone (PBX) with the messenger to enable calling directly from the chat window. Longer term, we're interested in AI-linked features for searching company regulations or HR policies, and we're considering an upgrade to EzQ Work Channel to expand beyond a simple messenger into a full work platform.

Q. On a scale of 5, how would you rate your satisfaction with EzQ?

About 4.5. The migration went smoothly on schedule and employee response has been good. There are some features that need fine-tuning, and once those are gradually finished, a perfect 5 is well within reach.

Q. If you had to describe EzQ in one sentence, what would you say? [

A messenger that's easy to use and makes work faster.
