Korea Western Power (KOWEPO) has initiated a messenger system upgrade project aimed at enhancing internal communication efficiency and strengthening its mobile work environment. This initiative is part of the company’s ongoing digital transformation efforts since first introducing a corporate messenger in 2010, with a focus on building a smart work environment through integration with various devices.
To support field-oriented mobile operations, the EzQ Messenger v8.0 Mobile tablet version will be deployed, offering optimized UI/UX across a wide range of mobile devices. The solution also integrates with core enterprise systems—such as system alerts and Unified Communications (UC)-based call control—to maximize operational efficiency.
In addition to mobile deployment, EzQ Messenger v8.0 PlusPack will be implemented for the PC environment to establish a unified system. By modularizing key functions for targeted patching, KOWEPO will shorten the implementation period and minimize risks associated with system changes, resulting in a stable yet efficient operational environment.
A KOWEPO representative expressed high expectations, stating, “With the EzQ Messenger v8.0 optimized for smart work, this system will become an essential platform that delivers optimal work conditions in any environment.” The project manager added that the team is committed to building a system that meets the client’s goals and expectations, maintaining close communication throughout the project.
Through this messenger upgrade, KOWEPO aims to further strengthen its digital work infrastructure, establish a more efficient communication framework, and accelerate the realization of a true smart work environment.
